Series SV 1500 Steam Vaporizer is designed to automatically vaporize liquid chlorine, sulfur dioxide or ammonia to provide high feed rates for gas dispensing equipment or other gas needs by using steam as the source of heat. These vaporizers are designed and fabricated in accordance with Section VIII, Div. I of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code. The entire unit meets the Chlorine Institute guidelines for chlorine vaporizing equipment. The unit is very compact, highly productive, combined with built-in superheater with common control. Many heating medias can also be used including hot water and heat transfer fluids such as dowtherm, terminal etc. Vaporizers are designed for the system, large or small, where the rate of gas withdrawal from a container (or multiple containers) is not sufficient to meet the demand for gas.
DESIGN FEATURES
- Superior Construction: Liquid Chamber fabricated from heavy wall pipe that exceeds ASME code requirements.
- Efficient Heating: Heating is transferred using tubes of suitable diameter, which are roller expanded and additionally seal welded for permanent tightness.
- Ease of Maintenance: The tube bundle is easily removable and replaceable on field if required.
- Safe Design: Gas pressure relief value provided to prevent excessive gas pressure buildup within the vaporizer.
